WE'LL BE PRESENTING A NEW THEME AT KENDAL SO THAT MEANS NEW GROOVES, NEW CHOREOGRAPHY AND NEW SONGS TO LEARN

As part of the Lakes Alive series of outdoor performances run by Kendal International Arts, Ẹdùn Ará has been invited to present a weekend of percussion, dance and song workshops culminating in a parade at the Kendal Mintfest.

Mintfest is the flagship festival of Lakes Alive, a four-year programme of world-class outdoor performance events set in the spectacular landscapes of Cumbria and the Lake District.

This project will run in a similar way to the ones held over recent years at the Rhythms of the World festival in Hitchin. There'll be workshops on the Friday evening and during the day on Saturday with a parade and a static performance on Sunday afternoon.

COSTS
The price for the full weekend of tuition is £20* per person (£12pp concessions). There is an early bird discounted rate of £12pp (£8 concessions) for those who book before Monday 12 July.

*Please note this price includes tuition and costume only. It does not include any food or accommodation. Kendal is very popular during the summer so to secure your accommodation we recommend you book early.
